Courts from Above: A Blend of Art and Sports.
There's something truly captivating about courts—whether they're for tennis, basketball, pickleball or any other sport. At first glance, they might seem simple and uniform, with their universal measurements and perfect symmetry. But as I have discovered, no two courts are truly alike. The colors, designs, locations, and surroundings make each one a unique piece of art waiting to be captured.
My love for sports began long before I picked up a camera. I play basketball since I remember, I like staying active and as every athlete I have a competitive spirit. This lifelong passion for sports has given me a deep appreciation for the spaces where these games are played. They are not just venues for athleticism but also canvases that tell stories of community, discipline, and the human limits.
I spend countless hours scouring maps, searching for the perfect courts to photograph from above. There's a thrill in discovering a hidden gem—a court with an unexpected splash of color, nestled in a unique location, or framed by striking surroundings. Each court I capture is a blend of precision and personality, symmetry and individuality.
Through my photography, I aim to convey the beauty of these spaces and my love for the sports played on them. By combining art and sports, I believe we can appreciate the harmony between structure, discipline, resilience and also creativity. These elements, when embraced, can lead us to become better individuals, both on and off the court.
